Student Grants Center (WVC)

Service Description:

Provides guidance, support and financial assistance for students in Transitional Studies (GED, ESL, and High
School 21+) and professional/technical workforce programs through several grant programs with separate
eligibility criteria.

Financial assistance includes tuition and fees, books, transportation, and emergency supports. Some
students may be eligible for food benefits and childcare assistance.

Support services such as tutoring, career advising, life skills workshops, college success classes, and work
study jobs are also available for eligible students.

Minimum Eligibility:

  • Washington State resident
  • Pursuing or planning to pursue a professional/technical degree or certificate or enrolled in High School 21+.
