Service Description:
SkillSource offers scholarships to eligible individuals who need education and training in order to secure full
time employment. Scholarships may be used for career related programs at community or technical colleges
or other approved training providers.
Funds may be applied to tuition, books and fees.
Sample Programs include (but are not limited to):
- Commercial Truck Driver
- Environmental Systems and Refrigeration Technology
- Medical Assistant
- Dental Assistant
- Nursing
- Radiologic Technologies
- Business Computer Technology
- Computer Technology – Network Administration & more
Minimum Eligibility:
- 18 years or older
- Eligible to work in the US
- Men must register for the Selective Service
