Job Corps Training Program (JOB CORPS)

Service Description:

Job Corps is tuition-free training for income – eligible young men and women ages 16 through 24.

Training Programs take approximately 8 to 15 months to complete.

Eighty percent of Job Corps graduates either enter the workforce, join the military, or go on to higher education or an apprenticeship.

Available training programs include: Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive and Machine Repair,
Construction, Finance and Business, Health Care, Homeland Security, Hospitality, Information Technology, Renewable Resources and Energy, Retail Sales and Service, and Transportation.

In addition to training, several Job Corps campuses provide meals, housing, clothing for training, living allowance, basic medical care, child care allotment and/or book and supplies.

Job Corps is a network of campuses and will pay for the transportation costs for a student to get to the campus closest to home that offers the career training they desire.  So any prospective student from Chelan/Douglas can attend any of our campuses nationwide – not just the one closest to where they live (if the training program they desire isn’t in their state).
