Service Description
The Child Care Subsidy Programs help families to pay for quality child care through either:
- Working Connections Child Care
- Seasonal Child Care
- For Working Connections Child Care, DSHS can help pay for:
- Licensed or certified child care centers
- Licensed or certified family child care homes
- Relatives who provide care in their own homes
- Adults who come to your home to provide care
- For Seasonal Child Care, DSHS can help pay for:
- Licensed or certified child care centers
- Licensed or certified family child care homes
Minimum Eligibility
• Working or participating in a DSHS approved activity at the time of application
• Be part of a seasonally employed agricultural family who is not receiving TANF benefits
• Children must meet certain citizenship requirements
